The 1908 Club is established for the advancement of education and the relief of youth unemployment by supporting students and alumni of The Windsor Boys' School in their transition from education to the workplace. We will provide mentorship, career guidance, work experience opportunities, industry connections, and financial support to enhance career prospects for young people.
Through the engagement of alumni, we will act as a bridge between education and industry, ensuring students receive the guidance, skills, and real-world insights necessary to pursue meaningful careers and develop professional confidence.
Enhancing Career Prospects – Helping young people access expert career advice, mentoring, and professional networking to improve employment opportunities.
Providing Equal Access to Opportunities – Ensuring all students, regardless of background, have access to work experience, industry contacts, and career progression support.
Supporting Economic and Social Mobility – Enabling young people to make informed career choices, reducing barriers to employment and increasing their ability to contribute to society.
Strengthening Community Engagement – Encouraging alumni to give back through volunteering, mentorship, and financial contributions, fostering a culture of lifelong support within The Windsor Boys’ School community.
The primary beneficiaries are students and recent alumni of The Windsor Boys’ School, who will receive mentorship, career guidance, financial assistance, and employment support. The wider public also benefits as the charity contributes to reducing youth unemployment, improving workforce readiness, and fostering stronger ties between education and industry.
